I am growing a couple of orchid plants indoors ( moth orchids and Vanda ) the problem is that I will be getting a UV film ( http://protectionplus.ca/residential/window-film/ ) for the windows. Will the window film affect the growth of my plants? If this is not a good option what should I do to make sure that my plants well without getting rid of the window films?

Plain glass filters UV light and people have been growing plants in greenhouses made of glass since the eighteen century with great success. Unless the film is tinted or blocks a significant amount of light, I foresee no problem.

Since nobody else replied, my openion is that the film should be fine.
But to be sure we are all talking the same thing, could you post a pic?
