White moss

    Hallo,
    i seem to be get some kind of white moss on my plants it first started on one plant. I read in the forums that i can clean it just with water and a simple sponge but then it came back and now it spred among almost all of my orchids. Can someone please explane to me what is this and how can i prevent it from spreting eaven more and it future apperence. Here are some pictures if it would help.

    What you are seeing is an infestation of mealybugs. It has likely populated the root zone, in addition to the leaves, so you should apply a good commercial insecticide, wetting 100% of the exposed vegetation and thoroughly soaking the potting medium. Repeat two additional times at one-week intervals, as insecticides, for the most part, do not affect eggs and immature insects, so the subsequent treatments ought to kill them as they mature and hopefully, before they can reproduce.
