We bought this plant about 1 month ago from the discount bench at a nursery. There were some very subtle inconsistancies in the leaves but they have progressed to large patches of brown spots. I have attached some pictures. The most significant damage is on the leading leaf. I am curious what is causing this issue and how to remedy the problem. Thanks for your help.
    this is the leading leaf
this is the second leaf from the top.

The bottom picture is a classic symptom of a viral infection. There is no cure. Sorry. You either need to throw this plant away (which is the best choice) or you need to be very, very careful that you don't infect other plants around it by using the same cutting tools, or bugs biting this plant and then another.

The first picture seems to be the end result of bites by insects...

First pic is most likely sun burn..... I would buy several virus test kits and test for a virus before I was to throw it out.

    Thanks keithrs,
I am unfamiliar with virus test kits. If you have the name of any that you would recommend I would appreciate it. Also where I might be able to get them. If it were not infected I would love to keep it. It is blooming right now and has gorgeous all white flowers.
    cheers,

    Thanks,
The test kits seem a bit expensive considering that we only paid $5 for the plant. I think I will send in some samples to the lab. Thanks so much for your help.
