Clark knows Jean doesn't have a big butt. He's just taunting her to post a pic in order to prove it. (I can't believe I'm defending Clark. LOL!)

You mean the one kneeling beside me in front? That's Rich. John is standing behind with the blue cap. If its Rich you're talking about that was his hat string...don't know about John...my memory fails me.

Eddie....the same one that posts here (I think) is in that photo as well.

 

It's the light and photo...John has not tattoo there and no choker. BTW, I have brown hair, not black....it must be that Fl sun. Hell, we did have one great time that year!

Yes, Aceetobe, I am in agreement with Forrest, please tell us more! Some of them look to be chanterelles, I do think. I visited my sister in Washington State last year and we had an incredible chanterelle hunt; I literally had to walk away from patches toward the end of the day because I was simply overflowing! Omelettes, tarts (crust made with freshly harvested leaf lard by the way!) soups, and ridiculously decadent stirfries soon followed. What did you make?

Me and my friend Mike go out mushroom picking a couple times a winter for about the past ten years or so. Since I live in San Diego, and he lives in San Mateo, I go only a couple times a year. He probably goes twice a month during November - Februrary or so. He's really very good at finding edible mushrooms.

Our friend has a ranch about 10 miles north of Gualala (in Mendocino). Me, him and my fiancee went out picking in the morning, and that was our haul for about 5 hours picking. There are White and Yellow Chantrelles there, the big pile of black ones are called Black Trumpets - which is one of the best mushrooms in the world, the big pile of orangey ones in the back are called Yellow Feet, There are some Oysters in the front, Candy Caps, and the big pile in the front right is Hedgehogs.

Beyond that in the fall time we get Porcinis, and this year there was an absolute bumper crop of Matsutakes.

 

nice. one of these days when you are passing through on your way to visit your buddy we should have a pint.

Me 2 weeks after my heart surgery last year. My wife took it and one other she used it to judge if there was any movement in 20 min. Hell there wasnt before why should there be now . She said omyGod I can see the devil in you in your eyes> Actually I was trying to figure out if I could catch her and kill her, shes a nurse and I kept hearing "well I don't Think the DR wants you doing that." I figured if I could move I could do it.
