The sticky icky. He had no doubt tangled with a skunk. Carl wondered if perhaps Booger had won that scuffle and if so, where the skunk was now. It had been a while since Carl had eaten anything and he started to wonder if....

 

he could find something to put on the grill. He went inside and opened the refrigerator. He saw ...

 

... some cheese, milk, left over spaghetti and a half pound of hamburger, slightly brown with age. He thought to himself, " I bet I'm not the only one hungry, I wonder what Booger likes to eat?" No sooner had he thought that thought when a voice he had never heard before said, in his head, "hamburger. booger lubs him some hamburger." Carl looked around the kitchen, who had said that?? But there was noone there except for Booger, who was staring at Carl with great intent. Carl shivered. "Okay, now that is wild. Time for some food."
Again, the voice in his head responded, "iz about time, booger about ready to start chewing own left foot."
Carl stared at Booger and approached him carefully. "Did you say something, boy?"

Carl started back to the fridge when he noticed.....

 

..Booger's mouth moving in a strange way, like he was eating peanut butter or something. Knowing there was no peanut butter in the house due to the salmonella outbreak, Carl looked closer. Much to his dismay,.......

He realized that the dog was chewing on a piece of the skunk from his previous scuffle. Carl went back to the fridge and pulled out the browning meat. When he peeled back the lid of the tupperware he was overwhelmed with the .....

 

wretched stench of rotting macaroni salad. He knew booger wouldn't eat this stuff, so he went back to searching. Then he found ...

 

...a mystery bowl, way in the back, behind the empty YooHoo carton. It was an oddly shaped bowl, kind of triangular and right away Carl knew something was amiss. He couldn't recall seeing this bowl before. It was covered with a strange material, too. Not plastic wrap and not aluminum foil but a strange hybrid of the two. The hairs on his arms stood up as Booger nosed him aside and stuck his head in the fridge, licking the outside of the strange bowl. Carl wondered to himself......

"..hmmm...is that smell actually coming from my finger? ....maybe i should have a V8 rather than see what's in that bowl....hmmmm......HEY!...what's that sensation in my pants??!!?? I hope it is that dumb dog nosing around back there and not.....

As Carl disposed of the nasty towels, Booger let out a soft "woof". Carl didn't pay him any mind and contined with his chore. Suddenly a noise blasted through his head, nearly knocking him to the floor.
"I said WOOF, dammit". His head still ringing, Carl looked in Booger's direction. The dog was sitting, staring directly at Carl. Again, the hairs on Carl's arms stood straight up. He couldn't deny it, this dog was ......
