I have the same plant from the same source. I've gone round and round for a number of years on the correct ID. It was sold as firthii. I've leaned toward erectum and others off and on. And now I've come full circle back to nassersuxassii. At least there can be no debate on that. :p

I have a piece. I am pretty certain it is Angraecum stolzii. It's a great plant and seems to bloom nearly continuously, year-round.

Please keep me in mind when either of your plants are dividable. I really like the Angs with non-resupinate flowers.

This would be funny if it weren't so frustrating.

Off the cuff, without looking at the book -- it could also be Angraecum baronii. That species has a rambling, scraggley growth habit and similar flowers if I recall.

Of course, Zach. However my plant won't be divisible for a while, it is still small.
Reyna, I carefully read every description for the genus and compared each with the measurements I have for the plant in question (please see my earlier post above). I can see why you would guess baronii, but I assure you it isn't. Without being able examine herbarium specimens and or visiting the source population plants at its original locality, all I can do as an amateur botanist is carefully examine and measure the plant and compare it with the descriptions for the genus. It is closest to Ang. stolzii, runner-up is Ang. cultriforme. Thus I label my plant Angraecum aff. stolzii. (aff. for affins, meaning "related to")
