What Marni said! I did that all the time with Ecuagenera.
Sometimes the plant quality may not be the best but my problem with Ecuagenera is the mislabeled plants, and it happens almost all the time, at least one or two mislabeled plants every pre-order with them. They will take care of the problem but it'll still cost you a little $(For their own mistakes, shipping--$10 min. or entrance fee and travel expenses to the show for pick-up) and some frustration because it happens quite often.

I pre-ordered some plants from Floralia recently (mid-February) and received some very nice plants with very nice roots. Thsy are all doing very well right now.

    Thanks.
His plants are pretty good and the price is good also. Unfortunately he doesn't have the odd/unusual species that I am really looking for now. I will look through his plants for sure though... you never know what he will bring to the show this year!

I agree that its best to inspect the plants that you buy from Ecuagenera, (and I suspect most vendors).Had a disappointing experience with them last year, where I selected a Plectrophora sp. in their greenhouses, and I got 1/5 of the plant I saw consisting of one rootless fan.It presently has one leaf alive left but is holding on.

I believe that PeruFlora will also be in attendance at Redlands this year; you might go through their list if you are looking for mico-minis. I pre-ordered from them as I missed their deadline for the POE this year. I've never been disappointed with Ecuagenera's plants or their customer service; I just wish that their website was updated more often to reflect what's available on their current price lists... Just my 2c
