If you had to go to Vegas, where would you stay: New York, New York, MGM Grand, or Mandalay Bay?

Thanks Dale. I was getting concerned with the lack of activity. Maybe everyone whooped it up last night and is still sleeping in.

If I had to go I would stay at the Hoover Dam. I stayed at Caesar's Palace one time and they stay up all night there.

I'd go if they kicked out everyone except the servants and the service personnel while I was there, but I'm not holding my breath.

The only time I've been to Vegas was to see the Grateful Dead. We camped in the desert, of course. Near lake Mead. While there, a bearded man stumbled upon our camp. He stood out for various reasons, not the least of which being that he wore a long pink dress that left little to the imagination. He said he was running for president. Hope that helps.

Mandalay Bay is the best of the three. Although in the end it doesnt matter where you stay because odds are you will be all over the strip anyway.

Oh and sorry, Breeze. I accidentally hit the edit button on your post instead of the quote button.

MGM Grand cuz it has easy access to the monorail that gets you everywhere and it's a really nice hotel.

I stayed downtown when there. It's cheap and you spend more time at everywhere else anyway. I got to see Mandalay Bay on opening night. The place was rockin' and a lot of fun. The outfits that the waitresses wore couldn't be too much skimmpier(sp?). I could tell some of them were a bit uncomfortable. I wasn't.

The reason I am asking is because I have free nights at those three places. I've stayed at MGM before, and it was a nice place. I think I've ruled out New York, New York, so it's down to MGM or Mandalay Bay. I'm leaning toward MGM because it's closer to Planet Hollywood where the concert will be. Hmmm... decisions decisions...
