I've had this plant for about 4 months and was very happy to see these wonderful blooms this morning. Even happier when I smelled them.

Very beautiful. I like both the flowers, and the setup.

I am getting a bit of an education on Neofinetia. I asked elsewhere about whether this had some other species in the background and was told yes. The Neofinetia community uses Kibana to designate a yellow flowered hybrid. It is not a clonal name as I had assumed. It is unknown when or what is in the background, but it is assumed to be an Ascocentrum/Vanda.

It is an unfortunate practice; there are many hybrids with intense flower color which are sold under Neofinetia. Then there is an issue of seed-propagated vs the real clones. The pink ones can be a little tricky because there are natural pink flowers; beni-tengu 紅天狗 and beni-suzume 紅雀 appear to have the most intense color among the real species for now. But Kibana is pretty!
