I got this plant from Kultana's in Bangkok 10 years ago. A regular bloomer at home, sometimes two spikes at a time... Smells something like lavender... vanda coerulescens (1 sur 1).jpg

That is fantastic. What are your conditions for it? Especially temperature.

I grow my plants in a temperate greenhouse : no less than 15° at night in winter. This one can stand cooler temperatures : I noticed cooler conditions make blue color deeper ! To me it is a very easy plant to grow. Sometimes two flowerings in one year !

    Hi,
I have some Vanda that I have on my back deck. I 'inherited' it about a year ago but only split it up about 3 months ago. I split it into 3 plants and they are all doing really well with new roots and maybe a spike (not sure yet) but my question is that you have them at no less than 15 degrees at night in winter. We have a very short winter but it does get as low as maybe 9 or 10 occasionally so do you think this will matter? Do you suggest bringing them inside during the cold spell?

    thanks.
