Back from a trip east (family visit) to Virginia & Delaware .
I spent my summers as a kid in Dewey Beach, Delaware and grew up in the Alexandria, Virginia area across the Potomac river from DC.

washington monument - lincoln memorial - house of LOONEY TUNES

dewey water tower - beach pics - from parents rooftop deck

96 to 102F each day and dewpoints thru the roof, heat was fine, humidity was the yucky part

Nice vacation, Brant! Lucky you to have spent time at the beach, sounds pretty damned good to me about now. And that water tower...have you ever climbed it?

Glad you and your family had a good time, Brant.

Dewey has changed a bit over the last 10-15 years... but it has always been a fun town for young people.

Tom, as we drove past H-son ..i said hello to you though you were out of town :) - next time !

longwood gardens ..nah except for a few pics & checking out what was growing in peoples yards i did nothing plant oriented.

i have been going there since the late 60's or early 70's, my folks b4 that, the change has been gradual though she is still smallish and fun for sure. Even Rohoboth has changed yet remains the same... new planks on the boardwalk this year i see.
