Trisetella triglochin (Rchb. f.) Luer 1980.
Nice little miniature. I grow this on a small Rhododendron branch. The plants roots love creeping around on the bark. Also a little bit of moss.
I am planting more and more on Rhododendron branches as the plants seems to love it.
Flower 1.5-2 cm in size. From Ecuagenera.

I've never tried Rhododendron wood. Is it plentiful there?

You must try Rhododendron! Here in Sweden almost every garden, park, school yard etc have Rhododendron sp! So here they are not hard to find. I ask people if I can take old dead parts. They last for many years.

The roots just love creeping everywere on the bark of the branches.
Try it and let me know how it works.

Pontus, we have wild rhododendron growing on the northern California coast and a really nice Rhododendron Dell in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, but I don't think it would be appropriate for me to raid either of them. I'll have to see if I can find some.

Good timing for this thread: I'm just headed over to my parents today to help with some gardening chores, including trimming the dead Rhododendron branches. Perfect, thank you!
