Very nice Gerrit! What conditions do you grow it under? I have the same size as yours with very luxuriant growth, but I've never bloomed it
Good job on making it flush with flowers. I've only got a dozen or do at a time and mine is big too
That looks like a very happy plant. Congrats!
I've heard that sometimes it's hard to get it flowering. Don't know what I'm doing right thou. I just keep it moist but not wet, good ventilation, rather high humidity and cool-intermediate temp. This summer it got 30°C sometimes with no problem.
Maybe the temperature drop in september we got over here initiated the flowering.
Great photos of really well grown plant!
In your forum I found the pictures and the name of Trichosalpinx. now it blooms (finally!), but the name was "lost" to me ... years ago bought without a name tag and never written one myself .....
So I searched the www for suitable pictures ... and found them here in the forum.
Hi Herbert, glad that you found a name for your plant but the accepted name for this species is now:
Gravendeelia chamaelepanthes (Rchb.f.) Bogarín & Karremans (2018)
