Bulbo bandischii is not the same as hap bandischii.
Thanks for the torture Jon. You're a bud.
Jon, have you confirmed any of your contortisepalums?
Yup. I sent you that crappy picture. Remember?
the one that turned out to be a blumei?
No. It looks vaguely similar, but it isn't. It's furry, the sepals are contorted, and it's a helluva lot smaller than any blumei I've ever seen.
Sure didn't look anything like this:
In that case, you might be right. I might not have contortisepalum. I have an even cooler species.
And no. You can't have a piece of it.
Chris, you might want to e-mail our mutual friend with your list. He probably has a couple. Or maybe you tried that avenue already?
I should get a tattoo of that list. lol.
why don't you want a B. nabawanense!!!!!!???? do you have it and can i have a div.? thanks
thus signatum could be a nice addition too and is more and more avaible...
contortisepalum could be found at nt orchids farm with some others
then i would like to get B. olorinum.....
Not fair, Jon has the cool species and isn't willing to ship or trade with people in PR. Ohh well might as well have something to look forward to buying.
I also would like to add Bulbo longicaudatum to the list. I know of at least one person in the US that has this species
Is this lorentzianum? If so, I have it.
Wow Jon, that is AWESOME! I don't think it's lorentzianum, though, from what I've seen lorentzianum has "fuzzy" petals. Not that I would turn down the opportunity to beg for a piece of yours!!
Have you found any of them yet, Chris? I like to add Bulbo. repens to my collection. Do you know where I can get one?
Dang that's a long list. How are you to put them all into your terrarium?
Take whichever ones I can find until I run out of room then either
A) build a bigger orchidarium or
B) stop until I can have a greenhouse.
Tom, not really. I also haven't seen a source of B. repens, either. Sorry.
