Ticoglossum sp. in situ

    Since there's not much interesting going on with the plants I'm growing, I thought I'd share a couple of photos I took while in Costa Rica a few years ago. I came across these orchids while hiking in the oak forests Cerro de la Muerte, where they were growing on the trunk of a fallen tree. I suspect these were T. oerstedii or closely related to that species.

    I think it is T. oerstedii also. Lovely photos and thank you for posting them.

    Those photos make me want to book a trip to CR again. What a beautiful country!

    Wow! Great photos! Love seeing in situ photography. Wish I had been into orchids when I was living in Costa Rica for language school. I must go back someday to see their orchids now!

    Nice I saw some Tico in Costa Rica on single trees in cow fields... nice!!
