Anyone here use the Tapatalk app on your iPhone/iPod Touch? I might be able to enable this for OI, but I wanted to check to see if anyone would use it. Lemme know.

*marks Alexis down as a NO*

It's a program that is used to view forums via a program instead of via a browser.

I have an iPhone, but haven't used (or heard of) tapatalk. My inclination is to say I wouldn't use it, but that's what I thought about most everything on the iPhone. Now we are inseparable.

It's a $2.99 application in the iTunes store. If anyone starts using it, let me know. I'll see what I can do.

What's a $2.99 application? Technology makes my brain hurt.

Wendy, there are thousands of software programs or applications, aka apps, written for the iphone that are either free or relatively cheap that can be bought through the itunes store online.

As we now have a new admin, I'll bump this up again.

If you do any traveling or commuting on public transportation, Tapatalk is a great way to access forums via your smartphone of tablet. It is easy to set up on the forum - add a directory, upload files, add one line to the forum home page and you're done. And it's free. It takes so little effort to implement, and has no impact on folks who don't use it that even if one members can use it, it's worth installing.

It is currently set up on The Orchidboard and my "Official Semi-Hydroponics Forum".

I'm glad you bumped this topic! I got the app after Jon had mentioned it, but I never used it that much. I would start using it more frequently if OI were set up for it.

Hi guys! Thanks for the feedback.

Tapatalk is definitely something on my to-do-list for future implementations.

I've been using Tapatalk for several other forums I visit and I really quite like it. I was skeptical about using it at first (thinking it would be hard to read and maneuver), but I am very happy with it. I would love to have OI on Tapatalk!
