    I was trying to add a tag to my Bulbophyllum odontopelatum post for culture advice and when doing so I got the following message:

    1. You specified a tag that was too long. A tag can only be 25 characters.

    Just wanted to let you know so if it is possible to expand the character limits on tags might help with searches.

    I'm not sure how that would help with searches, Tom. The search function doesn't rely on tags. The tag feature is meant to group similar items (like bulbophyllum). When tags are added that include species/hybrid names, it pretty much defeats the purpose of the clumping nature of the function. I understand what you're trying to do, but try just adding the tag "bulbophyllum". If the length limitation comes into play later, I think we can revisit it.

    OK...thanks for clarifying what the purpose of the tags are for. I will limit my tags to the genus names only going forward.
