Symbiotic Germination

    Hi!
    I took a branch from local woods, hoping it has orchid fungus. I managed to save one viable seed from my last attempt at this. I will try to add a picture of my setup later. A section of log is in a sealed container in a thumb pot to hold it upright. A small notch holds the seed in place. I have lights. The seed is Laelia gouldiana.
    Wish me luck!
    Again, if this works, i'll try to distribute the fungus with other growers so people can sow seed the old fashioned way.

    seed embryo turned black after a water soak. I think it is past its prime. :cry:
