Not what you were expecting, eh? :D leysianum x lobbii Most likely collected by Lance Birk's cousin in Eldorado.

I'm sure this is quite rare and valuable. From my extensive knowledge of bulbos....the lobbii gives it the bizarre trait of a floppy lip that wobbles to and fro. The leysianum no doubt gives it the hirsute, dystopian, lanceolate, oblongatae and pedicures. I could be wrong. :p

I've had it for quite some years and it never bloomed until recently when I drastically changed things by doing absolutely nothing different. :bang: It has been blooming like crazy for the past six months or so.

Slap a tag on it as bulbo suckerii and sell it for a ton of cash on eBay.

Ha ha... Bulbo suckerii... ;) Nice one though! Nice when you finally "crack" the magic code of a stubborn plant.

Very nice; I like the pink. Now I can't wait for mine to bloom.

El Dorado's are good for collecting orchids because they have that huge back seat for all of your finds.
