I have a plant tag that I can't make out. It is an oncidium alliance plant. I can read the "Sugar Bananas" part, but not the grex. I tried Google, found some very tasty recipes (especially liked sound of the tapioca, brown sugar banana one) and realized it could be a long search. Does anyone know of a hybrid called Sugar Bananas?

    To me it looks like:

    Jam. Sugar
    Bahamas

    Good luck!

Thanks for looking. Yes, it looks like JAM or JHM, but it isn't an abbreviation I know.

The only thing in OrchidWiz is with 'bananas' Dendrobium Melanie's bananas.
    Sorry, I can't help.

The person who had this plant only grew fragrant plants and mostly species. Maybe this was her description of the fragrance. I'll just have to bloom it I guess.:bang:

I think the last word is Bahamas also. Jam. may be short for Jamaica

Thanks, Harry, I can see that possibility. It still doesn't make any sense to me.
