There are a lot of these around here. Bright sunrise this morning and he seemed accommodating.

Is this the only Jay species up your way ?
The Blue is very vibrant !
We only have Scrub Jay's down here and they
    are curious pesky little buggers.

Scrub jays are abundant east of the Coast Range, but I've never seen any on the coast.

Thanks for the memories, Dale. We saw those when we were camping up and down the Oregon coast many moons ago! Beautiful bird and beautiful photos.

I saw a double red-breasted mattress thrasher the other day, but it was gone before I could get my camera.

Most likely the same Bluejay resident of my area, DeeJ They can also be aggressive. I have seen them kill Mourning Dove fledglings.

    Beautiful Jay, Dale!

I think I saw that on DVD at my adult movie store

I caught sight of a camera breasted seersucker once in San Francisco. Rare.

Jays are the teenagers of the avian world.

Beautiful photo, Dale. I like how he's straddling the perches.
