Very easy to culture, but blooming can be erratic. I cultivated it shady and it never produced any inflorescence even though it grew large with many leaves. I moved it a sunnier spot, the leaves started getting spots and looking awful many died, but it started blooming. Nowadays it migrates between a shady spot where it spends the dry season (winter and spring) and a sunny one where it spends the rainy season. Because many days are overcast in the afternoon during the rainy season it doesn't get too much sun.
It has a might powerful fragrance reminiscent of chocolate.

Pretty pretty !! One must like chocolate huh? :) I love chocolate. Maybe orchids can help with a diet if you want to lay off the sweet stuff
