Spelling and search function

Good morning everyone.
Our forum contains a great "search" function which allows users to search for key words including genus and species. Of course the search can only find posts if the original spelling is correct. To maintain the functionality of the search function I will correct the spelling of genus, species (including nomenclature standards) and other key words within the title only. Other corrections (such as changing genus/species identification) will be done only with the consent of the post originator.

Please remember that if someone is searching for Dendrobium kingianum the software will not find your post if the title is Dend. kingianum so please do not use abbreviations in the titles.

Also, if you notice that I have made a spelling error in a title or have incorrectly identified a plant, please let me know so I can correct it.

We have the best orchid forum on the net and it is something we can all take some pride in. Thanks for your help.
