Anybody have a clue what it is?
I do but can't think of it off hand:bang:
Edit Gastrochilus ????
It's an orchid. You can always send it to me if you can't find out what it is and don't want it anymore.
It sure looks like a Gastrochilus.
I don't have a clue but it is awesome.
Some type of Trichoglottis?- not sure but it is real nice!
My guess is also Gastrochilus, anyway it's sure a beauty!
The lip isn't right for Gastrochilus, they have frilly lips.
Ron, did you find the species name yet? I am pretty sure it is Gastrochilus species too.
Dawn, I have tried but no luck.
If not Gastrochilus, it could be Acampe sp.
Thank you for all the input! I'll try a bit more research
Tom, I haven't been able to ID it either. Dawn I think you need to send it here so I can study it better. I am quite sure I will eventually be able to ID it for you.
Pomatocalpa sp. possibly http://www.orchideen-bilder.de/gemischtes_2/pomatocalpa_spicata.html Pom spicata
Thanks Craig! Looks pretty close, mines just not as colorful.
I'm also voting acampe sp. - rigida, maybe?
Whatever it is, it's neat!
