Species name?

    I bought the orchid without a name. Maybe someone knows what it may be. J understand that it is not easy if you do not see the flowers, according to last owner them are white. Grateful for the answer. :)

    Leaves are strong and rigid, about 14-18 cm.

    I was thinking Oncidium but I'm not an Onc grower so I dare not suggest a name. When it blooms, you should post another photo, I'm sure someone here could ID it for you. It looks like a really healthy plant!

    wow that is really amazing how you can say full name after not very characteristic leaves? At least 10 Oncidiums sp which I know, and I am very not familiar with this genus, has similar leaves - all called "Mule-ears Oncidium" Example: http://www.larsen-twins.dk/orconcid_mules.html
    And much more hybrids witch are very popular x lanceanum fe lovely Josephine, and another posibilitys x Psychopsis...

    How can it be an Oncidium splendidum if the flowers are white?

    Ray, how can someone who doesn't label their plants remember what color the flower is?
