I know there are alot of Angraecoid growers on here, probably more than on any other forum, so I'd like to compile a list of vendors that you guys like to order from. This family of plants is hard to come by and not many places have a huge selection.

I'll start off with the few I know:

    Oak Hill Gardens
    Botanica Ltd. (Malala)
    Andy's
    Orchids Ltd.
    Louisiana Orchid Connection

    Anyone else know any others?

mrbreeze I've read about all your adventures with them so I think I'll take your advice and stay away from them

Largest, healthiest plants I've ever received through the mail. Universally mis-labeled.

Clown Alley Orchids I bought some nice ones from them, at great prices, a month or so ago.

Which ones did you get from them Posey? They come to many of the local shows but I never realized they sold any. I'll have to keep them in mind

I know some too, but only in Europe, so I don't think that you would be interested...

When you write "Botanica Ltd. (Malala)", what does it mean?? Does this vendor work with Malala, or does he buy her orchids and sell them in the USA for his own business??

Botanica Ltd. has their own very nice selection of Angraecoids that they raise and sell, but once a year, the owner does a group order with Malala. I just included Malala in this vendor because the order goes through Botanica.

Wow, that is fantastic, Giles. I can't wait to hear and see about your trip! I've been very curious about the status of Madagascar these days with all the political turmoil and what-not. Have a great adventure!

I agree with mrbreeze. I hope you have a blast there and take lots of pictures!

While we're talking about Malala, does anyone know when this year's list will be emailed?
