Sophronitis cernua ... yet again

    I know this species is frequently posted but this is my best blooming to date. There is another spike on the other side of the plant. The bloom color is fairly accurate but the column is actually more purple than it shows in the photo.

    Very nice. I can't wait for mine to bloom. I picked one up from MBF a couple of months ago and have yet to bloom it. It was blooming size when I bought it. I have it in a terrarium with extra light by the window and about 90% humidity and a fan going most of the time.

    Spikes from the top of the pseudobulb like a Cattleya.
