The flowers are short lived, the color is unbelievably bright. The plant is outstandingly non descript and unprepossesing.

Wow, that color poked me in the eye. Amazing. How big is the bloom?

I fell in love with the plant long before I ever saw the flowers. It looks like a bonzai bamboo.

My plant produces flowers that are about two inches tall and one inch wide. But I have seen flowers that look larger. Also this plant is young, perhaps the flowers will be larger when its canes are taller.

same here! After few years of frustration, my plant finally bloomed for the very first time last week or so, and I think it is going to bloom again tomorrow.

    Nicely done!
