Normally, we don't get this kind of snow...

    A week ago, 11"
Few days ago, 24" or more
Right now, it is a whiteout condition again.

Photos were taken an hour ago when it was a whiteout condition..........

Wow. That's impressive. It has been a very strange winter: this is the kind of weather we should have been getting all season up here in Upstate NY, but it has almost all gone south of us. Today we got less than an inch of snow. Go figure...

We got a small snow a week ago. Heavy rain 3 days ago and windy as hell today but clear.

That's really beautiful; but disgusting at the same time. This has been a strange winter with the jet stream in such a low position. I will have to run heat in my shadehouse again tonight. Very unusual cold snaps we've been having all winter.

It's been a pretty normal winter here in Denver. I'm waiting of the ridiculous spring storms, though...

Wow! That's usually what we get but this winter we have gotten off extremely lucky. We were supposed to get the northern edge of the storm last night but ended up getting a dusting instead of the predicted 10-15cm. Not that I mind though....I hate winter.

I know the feeling Tom as we got 20 inches on Saturday and today we got at least 24 more (maybe more!). I just got in from digging the car out and sidewalks but it is blowing so hard I am almost certain it will drift and need to be done again!

I just read that as of today, Washington, D.C. currently has the second highest seasonal snowfall total in the country, at 63.5 inches, behind... you guessed it: my lovely hometown of Syracuse, NY, at 73.7". That's really something.

We could use that here. We're way behind on our snow pack this winter. Not good for the water table...

You tell 'em, Brant. Don't let them get away with that crap. I had to call a Coast Guard escort the other day just to go out to the GH. But did y'all hear me whining about it? No.
