Sedirea japonica x Vandopsis parishii

    This is my Sedirea japonica x Vandopsis parishii (now Phalaenopsis hygrochila x Phalaenopsis japonica), bought about one year ago from Giulio Celandroni. Under my growing conditions, the flowers last about 5 weeks and they have a sweet, fresh and citrusy fragrance, that reminds me of a kind of laundry detergent.

    It is lovely. Your description of the fragrance makes me want to:
    1. grow the hybrid and
    2. get that laundry detergent.
