Just opening and I can't wait until they all open. Now named Myrmecophila albopurpurea, this one is from the Grand Cayman Islands. Mine has a very dark purple lip but next time I go to Redland, I'll be looking for the red one. This is one of the smaller Schombos, spike is only 2ft and the pbulbs stay small, about 6 ins or less.

I am definitley giving it serious thought. I have to do it one of these years and next year might be as good as any.
