I bought this from Andy's about 2 years ago at the Sacramento show as Schoenorchis species (China). This is my first blooming. I know that S. scolopendria was recently described and this appears to be it. Any opinions?

I grow it bright, right next to Dendrobium prenticei, although once it started spiking I moved it to a slightly shadier spot. Year-round water, daily in the summer but it dries rapidly on the stick.

That looks to be right Kelly. I was impressed at the thickness of the roots when I saw some the other day. Some are as thick or thicker than the plant is wide!
