I bought this labeled as Schoenorchis macranthum but I think it's juncifolia. ??
It looks like juncifolia to me. It is a lighter color than mine, but all of the parts look the same. I posted images of mine a month or so ago with a close up. I've never heard of Schoenorchis macranthum, but I would have bought it too (I'm such a sucker).
Ha ha! It's from White Oak Orchids and it actually has faded quite a bit-was darker. I think the spikes are close to going bye-bye.
Nicely done, Candace. I hope mine will bloom next year.
This is Schoenorchis juncifolia. Your "macranthum" (large flower) was a typo for "micranthum" (small flower), a species with minute white flwoers arranged like the bristles on a toothbrush.
Thanks for the clarification.
