I was rereading the Scaphosepalum article a few AOS issues back and thought this species is lacking in the spike length compared to some others in this genus. It is also very apparent to me it could just be my plant. Does anyone else have this species with elongated spike? Mine are Dracula like meandering through the moss to appear below the plant.

Can you give us any photo ? I have it too, but I don´t know what do you mean "lacking in the spike length".

I think that means his inflorescence was very short.

Daniel, I corrected the spelling on the thread title. Hope that was OK. Let me know if not.
