    My Sarcochilus dilatatus F.Muell., 1859. Blooming now, 13/05/2014. This is the pod parent of the seed I will send you later Marni.

    I don't think I'd really seen the flowers before. What is the temperature range for growing this?

    Takes to 0c/32f maybe a degree or two lower as a minimum at night in winter, and an extreme summer high to 38c/100f. That said mines happy in the wardian case under lights at 18c min to 24c max. In the wild they grow in the tops of the branches, so get quite strong light.

    While they take extremes, more so than some other Sarcochilus species, they are happier I think when they dont get the extreme heat.
