    Thanks for sharing Alex, Ecuador is almost overwhelming in diversity,
    The large red leaf Lepanthes looks in situ; do you remember where?

    Speaking of which, it looks rather like Lepanthes rhodophylla. Do you think it was that?

    It is rhodophylla! That was, by far, the highlight of my trip. Going crazy over plants at greenhouses is awesome, but seeing that in the wild was incomparable.

    I went "Woo" and "Whoa".
    The size of plants are crazy big.
