Looks great to me!!! My family vacations in Bandon almost every summer to escape the heat for a week. Yes, we are some of those "damn tourists" that invade your wonderful little town. I love it there.

Now, Kelly. I never actually said that. Next time you're up this way, give me a call. I think I'm in the phone book.

    Gorgeous.

Let me know when you get that teleporter back from the paint shop. I'd like to come visit, too!

Deal, Wendy. They have four courses out there, now. They're gonna host a couple tournaments this year. At the same time. I don't know where they're going to put everybody. I probably should get some more 'no trespassing' signs.

I might stop by sometime in July if you don't give a "to do" list.

Both of those photos are really nice, beautiful places. You certainly live in a wonderful area, Dale.

Yes, I like it here. I was thinking of driving from Port Orford to just north of Florence one of these days to photograph lighthouses. I could get Cape Blanco, Coquille River, Umpqua River, and Heceta Head in one day.

I'm feeling a bitching and moaning day coming on. Has nothing to do with the weather and more to do with a renegade teenager living among us. I'd be happy living on those rocks, by myself, right about now...

One of the engineers I sailed with had the perfect treatment for a truculent teenager; a daughter. He told her to behave or he'd remove her bedroom door. She didn't believe him and Dave called her bluff. Worked incredibly well. I threatened my teenagers with it, but never had to remove a door.

She'll be gone in the Fall and her dorm mates will enjoy her. Or not. What keeps me sane are my mumbled self-mantras and knowing I'm just paying out what I deserve. I was more of a nightmare at her age than she is. The door removal is an interesting experiment. I wonder how Dr. Phil would respond? Though he may not want to damage his doors. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/07/10/dr-phils-165-million-home_n_639711.html#s111695

Sorry to hijack your otherwise delightful photos:>

Nice house, Candace. I think you should get it. It even has a "a sweet pink baby nursery" so you can start all over.

Probably not. It's gonna be a 'no people' day.

I've seen people almost every day for the last week. I need a break.
