We got this plant two years ago from Andy's. It's proven a good grower, but I wish it would flower more than it has. This is the first time flowering since we got it (in spike) and there is one more spike growing now. I'd think that with all the growth it has put on, there would be more flowers...but that goes back to our culture and not the plant itself. I kept it drier this winter than last...that might have had an effect. If these plants did better for us then I would grow more than this one...they're great little plants and really nice flowers.

Here's a picture from when we first got it so you can see how much it has grown.

That's nice. Under what cultural conditions are you growing it? I have one, but it is struggling. I'd hate to see it die, since I got it on a trip to Hawaii...

Alexis, I grow it intermediate under lights and keep it moist. I grow it in sphag in a shallow "pot"

Thanks for the info, Josh. I think mine needs more moisture.

Beautiful flowers on an attractive plant. Sounds like maybe you have the culture down. I'm always looking for orchids that like to be wet cuz I'm a terrible over-waterer.
