    Hi,

I have two new leaves on my brassavola Nodosa plant. I noticed both are slightly bent/soft. The plant is on a west facing window and gets plenty of light. I use a 20 20 20 fertilizer. Any ideas as to why this is happening? Thanks

    How are the roots?

    What is it potted in?

    How often do you water?

Hi Ray, I took the plant out of the bark medium and found that the bark had rotted! Have repotted in fresh bark. Thanks so much for your e mail.

Yeah, waiting too long to repot is one of the most common issues we deal with.

Steve Male, who owns Fishing Creek Orchids in the Harrisburg PA area, repots every plant he has annually, and he grows some of the best plants you'll ever see.
