Printable plant tags?

    As my collection now passes the 1000 mark it's becoming a lot of work to create new tags, especially when de-compoting etc. I currently print self-adhesive labels that I put on the tags but would be nice if I could just print directly on the tags. Does anyone have recommendations for printers and printable tags I could get? TIA!

    The only ones I'm familiar with that have a lasting ink are the heat-transfer tags and printers. Unfortunately, I think they are pretty expensive.

    That's all I got. Hope it was more than nothing.
