You thought I would say that I prefer foliage over roots, Tracey?

My suggestion is to start a group on flickr dedicated to orchids with interesting foliage. For example, I love seeing orchids growing on trees so I started a group dedicated to landscaping with orchids. There's already a ton of nice foliage orchid shots on flickr...you would just need to invite the photos to your group...which is super quick and easy to do. For example...here's a nice shot of Laelia bradei. Once your orchid photos are on flickr it's easy to cross post them to this forum using this flickr to forum script I wrote.

Personally, I wouldn't allow just any orchid plant shot to be admitted to the group...as most orchids do not have interesting foliage. "Interesting" is of course highly subjective but I would definitely allow any orchids with variegated (ie. Dendrobium moniliforme), succulent (ie, Pleurothallis sarracenia), furry (ie. Dresslerella portillae), braided (ie. Dendrobium anceps), bony (ie. Dendrobium pendulum) or colorful (ie. Lepanthes calodictyon) foliage.
