Porroglossum muscosum

    This is a richly colored form of this species. I rarely find it with the lip in the 'open' position. Today one of these flowers did have the lip open, but moving it to take the picture caused it to close.

    Kelly, it's quite large for a Porroglossum. The tips of the sepals are about the diameter of a 50 cent piece.

    Tom, I have 3 clones of this species, and this is by far the best colored clone.

    I grow it cool, but it can grow intermediate.
