Pop Up Adverts Covering Photos

    Is it possible to get rid of the adverts that now appear partially covering photographs when a thread is opened? This seems a real shame. After all the discussion about the new design I think this is a very unfortunate development. I can live with the border adverts but do not like having to click on an advert to get rid of it before I can see all of a photograph.

    To be fair they only appear if you are not logged in as I have just discovered. I suppose the question is if I was a guest would this deter me from joining. In my case yes. I would be interested to hear what others think. I do appreciate that this forum cannot be run for free.

    As you stated this is for guests only. I have a notice up that registering removes the advertisements as well.
