I have a special affinity for polystachyas. There are some really fine species that should be more widely grown. This one from Malawi is one I find very charming. It is fragrant, long lasting and the plant hasn't gotten very tall in my conditions. This is growing in a 2 1/2" planter. It does ok at 56F minimum, but does much better around 50F.

Nicely flowered. Where did you get this? From me? I think it is the hybrid between johnsonii and zambesiaca or campyloglossa.

Oh dear! Yes, this is from you. I crossed two plants of this from you and guess I better stop calling it a species. Not sure if you saw it, but I did post on your question about Maxillaria a while back.
