    One of the most rewarding polystachyas that has a wonderful fragrance. This is a seed grown plant.

    What a great question! I'm guessing it was 4 years. I didn't keep a record of the first blooming, but I think I will start doing that for all of my crosses now. I am about to bloom my first plants of a hybrid between Trichocentrum longicalcaratum x Trichocentrum pulchrum. I harvested that capsule green on 7/12/10.
