Pollen of Clowesia rosea

    Hi all,

    My Clowesia is in spike, and will be opening soon. The availability of this plant seems to be extremely limited, so I would like to change that. :D

    Anyone have any pollen?

    Where are you located? My Clowesia rosea's flowers just started opening two days ago. Still not fully mature (the flowers, that is), but might be willing to send some pollen your way if you want to split the costs of flasking once the pod on your plant has ripened. Agreed that it's hard to find this species, but I've read that it's not easy to get the pollination efforts to work in the lab/home. Not sure why that is, but willing to help you give it a go to try and increase the availability of this very cool species. You can send me a PM if you'd like: [email protected]
