Anyone have tips for flowering this species? I'm about to give up on it. I am growing it mounted, intermediate, shady right next to Lepanthes ovalis. The plant looks good but it has never bloomed for me. I have moved it around the gh over the years but it has never been in bright light, mostly shady to Phalaenopsis light. Any hints are appreciated.

I grow it potted and root bound. It in in the 56F house in moderate to moderately bright light, but not shady.

Thanks, Marni. I may take it off the mount and pot it.

I've had mine potted, flushed with RO, kept moist, now I let it dry out a bit between waterings. I tried shady. It's in bright light now. I tried cool. I tried it warmer. I can't make it happy

Yep, root bound and somewhat bright, for me too.Blooms every year.
I've seen it in situ ,in Ecuador, as a terrestrial in rubble ,in bright conditions, and those populations seemed to be blooming.

Kelly Pot it up and then put it on the fr end of your green house, on the ground. Have mine on the ground, its growing and hoping to see it bloom.
