I bought this as Pleurothallis chaetoglossa, which it is not. The close up of the flower is not in focus, but you can sort of make out the furry purple lining of the inside of the flower. Grown mounted on tree fern in a cool greenhouse.
This looks awesome under a magnifying glass....can't wait to get a good camera.

It isn't Pleurothallis cypripedioides either. It is Pleurothallis trichostoma(may have been moved to other genus). Both species have almost identical growths but the details of the flower are significantly different.

There is a lot of confusion on these, but I certainly agree that it isn't P cypripedioides. I don't know how many species are in this group but I have photographed a couple of them up close and the projections (like tusks) along side the column are from another planet.

You are right. It is Pleurothallis trichostoma. I took a much closer look with a very bright light and magnifying glass. The column shape, and lip shape definitely point to trichostoma. I got confused because mine has purple hairs on both the dorsal and lateral sepals....in Luer's description he says trichostoma has white hairs on the dorsal sepal. All other features match trichostoma.

Is there a way to edit the title of the post?
