Pleurothallis sp. aff. hemirhoda

    I purchased this as Pleurothallis sp. aff. hemirhoda, but I'm pretty sure it's Pleurothallis saueri. There isn't much information online about this species. It looks like it was recognized by the AOS back in 2013, but was formally described in 2016, however, it isn't listed on IOSPE or Monocot's list. The flowers are approximately 2 inches long and stand atop the plant at 15 inches tall.

    Nice plant, Ecuagenera has been selling these as saueri of late.

    This plant may in fact be from Ecuagenera. I purchased it from a local greenhouse who states he got it from a grower in Hawaii.
