I acquired this plant from Ecuagenera labelled as Pleurothallis aculeata, which it is not. Pleurothallis sicaria is quite widespread and quite variable in all characteristics. The ramicauls, or 'stems', are triangular in cross section and blend into the leaves without much distinction. This clone is a nice purple variety that is uncommon for this species.
